Valley Environmental Services is comprised of companies involved in the production of asphaltic concrete for building and resurfacing major highways and county roads. The asphalt is used on shoulders of roads and parking lots for any type of business. The used oil we obtain from our customers is used as fuel to heat the ingredients necessary for the production of asphalt. From the customer locations, the oil is transported and collected at our storage facilities in eastern and central Iowa.

The used oil is used to heat the aggregate ingredients - not as a part of the finished product. Because the oil is being burnt and not resold, our customers don't have to worry about the liability of where the oil is actually going or might end up. Environmentally, we feel this is the best way to dispose of used oil.

Valley Environmental Service was founded as a means to provide a service for our customers who generate used oil, used oil filters, antifreeze and have a need for parts washer services. Our goal is to minimize the generators cradle-to-grave liability through a total management of their waste streams and be able to do this in a cost-effective manner through the use of the highest management standards
